So I just got a S22 Plus that's under warranty and I'm wondering if I should attempt to update my phone? Are Pluses boot looping? I've tried to search but all I've found concerning the S22 Plus is stuff from months ago. Nothing recent.

Are S22 Pluses boot looping from this latest update? I saw other people saying phones with Snapdragon aren't boot looping, either. From what I read, I believe that may apply to this phone also. Should I try to update since I have a 90 day warranty with like 87 days left on it?

Anybody?

Oh wow. It wants me to update a 2nd time. This time it's a patch released on Dec 1. Guess I'll do this one also?

SUCCESS! 2 Updates and no immediate issues. No boot loop. And I haven't had it long enough to gauge whether battery life has been affected.

So I guess I'll just keep enjoying my new phone lol. I upgraded from an S9 I've had since like 2020 I think. So this is a big jump. I initially ordered a refurbished A14 5g that was supposed to be in excellent condition but it was more like good or fair. Dents and scratches around the edges and on the back. Scratched screen. So I returned it and threw a few more $ towards a refurb'ed S22+ from a legit store. It's in like-new condition lol. As long as it keeps performing like it has been, I'll be stoked!

I have a Samsung S22 that is locked up. My grandsons messed around, and now I can't unlock it to get my pictures or contacts
