I bought this phone after doing homework. And deciding the anticipated and up coming. UI 6.1 update with AI. Would be worth it. Over buying a pixel. Now I've watched everyone around me update their phones. Including my grandparents S21 over a week ago. Frustrated
I have the S22+ and received the 6.1 quite a while back, so it's a bit strange that you have not.
It could depend on the carrier model you have, but another thing to try if you haven't done so already is to go into Settings > Security & Privacy > Updates > Google Play System Update, make sure you have installed all the possible updates in there also.
Then make sure you go to both the Play Store and Galaxy Store and update everything possible in there because there are some components that reach out to carrier services that I've noticed that need updating sometimes when an update is released.
After you have completed all of the above it's a good idea to reboot your device, and then try to see if the update becomes available for you.
You could also try booting into recovery mode and clearing your cache for your device as I've had issues in the past with an update not going through and when I did this it ended up seeing the update afterwards. Hope this helps.
