Galaxy S22My s22 ultra was working fine last week. Then on the weekend my phone updated itself and now it does not connect to the verizon service most of the times. When I'm at home or in the rural areas it won't connect but when I'm in the city close to the towers then it connects. But it also drops in an out. I spent 2 hours with tech support and they helped me set up an estimate but it still does the same thing. Now they are trying to get me to buy a new phone even though this was working just fine 2 days ago. It stopped working the day of the update and I don't know what to do. I don't want to have to buy a new phone right now. Phones are not cheap right now and they want me to drop over a 1000 for a new one. Is there a way to remove the update and go back to the last version?

Galaxy S22To wipe the system cache,
Turn off the device.
Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Side key.
When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear.
Press the Volume down key several times to highlight Wipe cache partition.
Press Side key to select.
Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Side key to select.
When the process is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
Press the Side key to restart the device.
Unlike a master reset, wiping the cache partition does not delete your personal data. Turn off the device. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power key. When the Android logo displays, release both keys. An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight the Wipe cache partition. Press the Power key to select. Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Power key to select. When the process is complete, the Reboot system now is highlighted. Press the Power key to restart the device.

Galaxy S22Hi All,
My S22 Ultra did the same in Australia. It was working fine before the update and now won't connect or is extremely slow data wise. The phone drops out very regularly during calls and luckily reverts to wifi calls when connected to wifi.
I have tried everything listed in the comments and more. The final step I took this morning was to complete a full factory reset which made absolutely no difference once the phone had completed it's setup update process.
At the moment the phone is a brick. If this isn't sorted out shortly I will have no choice but buy another phone because I need a reliable phone for my work. It won't be a Samsung.

Galaxy S22I responded with the tmobile phone. I took it to a phone repair place they said it was a bad antenna but after trying a new antenna they found the charging port went bad. The antenna goes into the charging port. My phone didn't have any problems charging but after the replacement of the port my phone is fixed $160 later but fixed.
