S22 voicemail app crashes

Just replaced my old phone with the S22 via Verizon. 

When I try to open Voicemail app that came with phone, it instantly crashes.

Go to settings, apps, Voicemail, storage, clear cache.

Thank you, that worked. It did not crash. It gave me along messsage about "visual voicemail" and certain charges may apply, I guess this is not free ?  On my previous Verizon phone, the app was able to show messages without any cost.

I have Verizon, Visual voicemail is free. Transcription is the premium service.

I don't pay for Visual voicemail. What they are taking about is data costs. If you don't have unlimited data it can make you go over your data limit

I did that and it doesn't work.  It still crashes.
