Samsung Messages Going Away?

Is Samsung Messages getting dropped/retired? I ask because I keep seeing the attached upgrade note. If I wanted to use Google messages I would but Samsung's is better IMHO.

Yeah well, can't expect Samsung to just keep their current messaging app going forever, i already use Google Messages anyway so i think its best you do the same

It’s hard to say since they updated it to work on the S25’s and I heard they are adding back RCS to it so I believe it’s staying around for awhile now

Yes this is true they have also pushed another update in Korea that adds the ability to Edit/Delete messages

There are conflicting answers to your question. According to what I read on Sammobile, RCS features were just upgraded on Samsung Messages, and they theorize that Samsung has backtracked on their statement that it is disappearing. I guess we'll just have to see.
