I purchased a S22 Ultra directly from Samsung. I am unable to use the Verizon Call Filter app because of compatibility and my APN settings are locked. Anyone else experienced this and possibly know of a fix? It is a prepaid account.

I purchased my S22 ultra directly from Samsung; Verizon locked. Do you have the unlocked version. If so, then the Verizon Call Filter app may not work but if it is a Verizon phone, even if it was purchased directly from Samsung, it should work.

OK since you didn't get it from Verizon directly it won't work. I had this issue. Verizon doesn't care if you bring your phone but Verizon branded apps won't work on a BYPD. I had the same issue when I was on Verizon

Okay thank you. Guess I will see if I can do a trade for one of their phones.

It was the unlocked version. I should look into doing a trade in with Samsung for the Verizon version. Thank you for the input.

I don't think Verizon does trade in for prepaid accounts. At least that's what they told me

Like o said you probably wouldn't be able to do a trade in on a prepaid account. So you might have to trade it to samsung and see if you can get a Verizon locked
