For some reason I'm under the impression that this feature will not use up the Hotspot data that's on my account? I feel like I'm wrong. If I use Hotspot or tethering, the carrier will know and deduct it from the Hotspot allowance, right?
Yes if you use Hotspot it will be deducted from your Hotspot Data
