I have been having this this issue where I would turn on AOD and as soon at I turn off my display to see it, it turns itself off. Do any of you have a fix to this issue?

Hello, We understand how frustrating it can be to discover your AOD has turned off. There are some steps to try to correct this behavior.

1. Try clearing the app cache. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077611/

2. Go to Settings>Apps>AlwaysOnDisplay.

Select Battery.

Check that the app is Unrestricted.

3. Clear cache partition and repair apps in the recovery menu.

To get to recovery mode:
- Turn off phone
- Once off, hold down volume up and power buttons simultaneously
- When Samsung logo appears, release power button BUT KEEP HOLDING VOLUME UP until the recovery menu appears
- Use volume buttons to navigate down to clear cache (NOT CLEAR DATA/ FACTORY RESET)
- Use power button to select.
- Run the repair apps option and your device will restart.
4. Perform a complete backup of your data and factory reset the phone. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/
If the AOD continues to turn off at unscheduled times, we recommend submitting an error report. https://www.samsung.com/latin_en/support/mobile-devices/how-to-report-error-using-samsung-members-ap...
