App issues with the edge panel?

I use the edge panel a lot to open apps and it doesn't work most of the time for some reason, started happening only recently maybe a month back or less and fix is to reboot the phone and I keep getting sick of doing that. To describe the issue more specifically the apps do show on the panel it's just that when I click nothing happens.

I'm having the same issue. I use my edge panel constantly throughout the day. Now when i swipe to use it, nothing appears. It only shows the settings cog at the bottom. No panel. I have to toggle it on and off as well. It's very frustrating.

I'm having the same issue. Edge panel probably my most used function to navigate so this is incredibly frustrating.

Interesting. I ungrouped my apps in the edge panel and have seen a noticeable difference. I'll let ya know if its a permanent fix. A bit inconvenient after getting so used to it but I can survive this way.

I've found that while edge panel has disappeared, the functionality is still there. So when I swipe, even though I can't see the panel, I can still click in the area where I know my apps to be and they open. So if you are storing apps and know where there are on the panel, it still works. It's annoying, but at least it's not totally gone.🤷🏼‍:female_sign:

Same problem. I tried a factory reset -_- didn't work. My husband and I have the same phone, he doesn't have that issue.

Did you make sure your phone is up-to-date? This seems like it is happening to random phones I guess.

I'm having the same issue after the most recent software update. The edge panel disappears after I select an app. If I try to swipe where the edge panel normally is, it only shows the settings cog at the bottom of the screen. Each time I have to go into settings and turn the edge panel off and back on, but then I can only use the edge panel app once before it disappears again. I've also noticed that the notifications and permissions in the edge panel are grayed out and will not let me change anything. I tried to change the notifications for the edge panel in the notifications app, but each time I turn that on, it disappears again when I go back to the edge panel app. It simply says the notifications are blocked and there are no permissions granted for that app (with no option to make any changes). I use my edge panel constantly, so it is very frustrating having to go into settings each time I want to use it to turn it off and back on. I hope Samsung fixes this issue quickly!

Same with my s21 ultra
