Can the active Mode widget (as seen in photo) be removed from the lock screen??

there's only a check off for show/not show *routines* on the lock screen. But I'd rather not have my active mode just sitting there. If it was just the symbol it wouldn't be so bad. Option for gone would be preferred. I mean, it's already showing in my top right stats, it's kinda redundant.

Have you tried turning off the slider for "show routines on lock screen"?  I have it off and do not ever see my active mode on the lock screen or AOD.  When I tap on the text of the setting, it shows that "sleep" mode is one of the modes that would appear on the lock screen (if I had it enabled).  I believe that turning that slider off will eliminate both the routines AND modes from showing.  If you have it off and your active mode is still showing, Try opening the setting, turning it on and deleting any active mode you do not want to show, then turn it off again.  See what happens.
