Galaxy S23I'm really disappointed in the "upgrade" to Studio vs. Create Movie that was on my Note 10 and S23 Ultra before the update to One UI 6.0 and Android 14. I read that Studio was an upgrade but IMO it's taken a huge step backwards unless someone can tell me where I can find the features that I used to have on the Make Movie ability in Gallery. I used to be able to split a video in sections and combine videos to make a "movie" with transitions, etc. So far I haven't been able to find/use any of these features in Studio. I feel like I must be looking in the wrong place but they were so easy to use/find before! I've have had to go back to using apps outside of the Gallery to combine multiple videos into one and properly edit a video with splitting, etc. It's very disappointing to see useful features taken away when all the hype is about how much better the camera and gallery are with the update. Does anyone know where I can pass this info along to the Samsung developers and find out what happened to these nice features or even where to find them if they are still there somewhere?

Galaxy S23@Members_BRN4ll4 If you want to create a "Movie", long press on an item and then select the items in Gallery you want in the movie. Click the Create button in lower right and select Movie.
To add a transition, scroll to where the clips join and click the box containing a vertical line. Then you can pick the transition that you want to apply.
To shorten a clip, click on it and you will see the trim bars at the ends.
If you want to completely move clips around, long press on a clip and move it.

Galaxy S23I finally figured this mess of a editor up..but if I insert a pic into the video and want to place it in a certain spot in the video after I have already split the video, I long press then move it to where I need and the phone multiple vibrates and it randomly places it when it wants to. How do you fix that? I have taken a screen recording of my issue but dunno where I can post it for you all to see.

Galaxy S23Hello, yes! As mentioned to previous person, I found it on my own about 2 minutes after posting this, 3 months after getting my phone. Developers rearranging the location of features is a pain.

Galaxy S23AGREEEED! I have no edit options now and can't do anything with my video editor. I can edit old videos prior to te update having all edit options available but any new vids I can't do sh*t with them. Studio is annoying and just adds extra steps. It was convenient and really nice to just hit edit and bang! All your options right there. The last update is a huge step backwards. I've been a Samsung lifer and now I'm actually considering iPhone as my wife has all of those features for video editing on her iPhone. Awful and so disappointed. Again, I've been a Samsung user since the first galaxy came out, along with tvs and electronics. Maybe it's time for a change, unless this gets fixed asap. Wish I never updated my phone.
