You can remove it using the LockStar module in the Good Lock App

In addition to what @ButtaBean_420 mentioned using the LockStar module within the Good Lock app, if you set up Smart Lock (Settings>Lock Screen>Smart Lock) with recognized devices, the phone will always be unlocked when connected to things you set, like Galaxy Buds or your Galaxy Watch, and would eliminate the lock icon.
