Feedback on S23 series One UI 6.1 megathread

Every since updating to this verson, The most significant features i use are circle to search and the lockscreen widgets. Some bugs: slow charging speed, crappy lockscreen widget animations. And slightly more battery drain. Fix this samsung.

Since this update I've been totally lost without the Aod features, I've done some searching and found an app called aoa on app store, downloaded that now I can set my own style clock and colour, set my own brightness and my edge lighting is back, give it a try, you won't be disappointed, I'm more than happy now I've sorted it myself 😀

I 100% agree. Why remove this feature. It wasn't hurting anything and is my favorite display. Sleek and minimalist. The edge notifications were nice and differentiated from Apple and other cell phones.

Adding in my voice to this, I've used to the edge clock for years going back to my Note 9.  I'm on the Fold 3 but found this thread through google and it is still relevant as I just got One UI 6.1 today and discovered this issue. How does Samsung think that removing features is a good idea, this is so frustrating!

This just happened with this last update. I have to say it is NOT user friendly for one handed operations. Especially if you're right-handed, because my thumb can't reach all the way across the screen to touch the microphone.

I'm not sure who comes up with these ideas. But they really should run this stuff past a group of actual end users. Please move the microphone Back so that is functional for one handed use.

I read in the update details that it was moved so that we are able to see the keyboard while using the mic. But I never had a problem with that before anyway

I couldn't find it and am **bleep** that it isn't easy to use as I use it for almost all my text messages and many emails also. This was a very stupid move to take the microphone :microphone: off the main line
