Feedback on S23 series One UI 6.1 megathread

Every since updating to this verson, The most significant features i use are circle to search and the lockscreen widgets. Some bugs: slow charging speed, crappy lockscreen widget animations. And slightly more battery drain. Fix this samsung.

So there actually is samsung microphone I had to go in and reset my Samsung keyboard settings to default and then it showed up. And I don't know if this helps or not but I also restarted my phone before I did it.

I reset my stuff to default and it didn't do anything after restarting the phone. However, I dug into the new features on a Google Chrome website, follow that until I got to the keyboard touch options, where one can usually find the turning on and off of swipe and other features, where it had a new feature with touch and hold the spacebar to activate microphone. This is what I'm using to dictate the text response to your reply. I don't know how to get this information out to others, so if you do, you can share this with others. I see this as the biggest miss in terms of updates of all time and I think whoever made that decision should be fired. I actually use the cursor feature on the keyboard. Now I have to choose between mic or cursor. What a load of **bleep**.

I think Samsung moved the microphone button to make room for the AI button on the keyboard's toolbar.

It would have been nice if they had left it on the toolbar so we could customize which buttons we want, but maybe they felt that there wasn't enough room.

That makes no sense, since you can add or subtract features to and from the toolbar. It isn't even an option now.

In the keyboard settings, where one usually turns on and off the swipe features, there's a new feature that allows you to touch and hold the spacebar to activate microphone. I hope this helps.

Just tried that unfortunately it's still requiring me to have the mic in the bottom left corner to use the voice feature for some reason... oh well..
