So I have recently updated from a Galaxy Note 9 to a S23 ultra.

My problem is this. I had spent hours upon hours going through the 120 gigs of music on my old phone to specify favorite tracks to play in the favorite list on Samsung music.

I have transferred everything over to the new phone and interestingly it only recognizes 300 of the 1100 tracks I had previously favored it on my old phone.

Does anyone have any idea how to get my new phone to reflect on my old phones favorited music tracks?

Thank you all for any answers or thoughts you have.

I think part of it is the fact that I've copied files for multiple drives. Old phone having a memory card resulted in me having some music files in various places which the new phone reads as the favorited songs there still being favorited but everything that's copied over from the secondary Drive it has wiped out all indication of the 800 songs I had favorited there

So here is how I ended up doing this, or the process that has gotten me to the middle of doing this.

In short there is no easy way. So what I have done is taken the list of my favorites and separated it into two playlists favorites a and favorites B. I then copy over my music and it moves the playlist over as well on my new phone I have gone through and just burned through the playlist favoriting every song that I have come across.

It's not necessarily a problem but it is annoying

So redownloading them is an option but that would fundamentally circumvent the very end result I'm looking for here. I favorited more than a thousand songs on my old phone and me re-downloading them would not have that designation carry over to my new phone

I just realized all my music is on the SD card. I think I will put the SD into the new phine and see how that works.
