So I have recently updated from a Galaxy Note 9 to a S23 ultra.

My problem is this. I had spent hours upon hours going through the 120 gigs of music on my old phone to specify favorite tracks to play in the favorite list on Samsung music.

I have transferred everything over to the new phone and interestingly it only recognizes 300 of the 1100 tracks I had previously favored it on my old phone.

Does anyone have any idea how to get my new phone to reflect on my old phones favorited music tracks?

Thank you all for any answers or thoughts you have.

So here is how I ended up doing this, or the process that has gotten me to the middle of doing this.

In short there is no easy way. So what I have done is taken the list of my favorites and separated it into two playlists favorites a and favorites B. I then copy over my music and it moves the playlist over as well on my new phone I have gone through and just burned through the playlist favoriting every song that I have come across.

It's not necessarily a problem but it is annoying

Did you try uploading it to the Samsung cloud or Dropbox and then trying to upload to the s23 ultra

Unfortunately Samsung Cloud, due to its integration with Microsoft OneDrive will not allow for backup of music or documents as of I think two years ago. I have not considered putting everything onto Dropbox but given that it's $120 gigs I am not entirely sure that that would be a effective idea. Or a monetarily Justified idea for that matter.

I had hoped that someone here would have a different idea but if no one does I'll be copying the files onto my laptop and then copying them onto the new phone that way to see if things transfer over as I wish them to.

Not yet I came here first thinking that someone might have the answer if no one does then giving them a call would be the next step in the process. And if they have a way to do it I would be sure to come back here and make it known.

Regardless of outcome thank you for the attempt

On the plus side most of those musical fires are already on the SD card. I would just need to wonder my place until I find the  adapter
