You can thank Apple for making texting incompatible on different platforms. They purposely make it difficult for Android users and iOS users to keep their customers locked in and put pressure on Android users to get an iPhone so they won't cause trouble to their friends and family who owns iPhones. Makes me a little upset that Apple could change this but does it on purpose.
