My Keyboard sucks since update.

The 6.1 update really didn't do much for me the M usually hits the period now and instead of a smart phone figuring it out and making the word sometimes the space bar doesn't work afterwards and make on long word starting with a period. .albeit broke see type maybe it's broke and other words that are legit words I have to fight with my phone to make it say the right word. I meant to spell well instead of good with it's ebonics dictionary. Since I type fast and generally believe what I type is correct only to get a what? Returned to me. Others are complaining about the keyboard as well I may get a keyboard download.

There are several other keyboard apps available if you don't like Samsung's. Google's Gboard seems to be popular.

I am having trouble with my keyboard as well! First the microphone icon was just gone! Now my little avatar thingy, not Bitmoji but something starting with an M(?), but like an avatar is not there anymore either! This update messed up everything

Totally agree.  Where they placed the microphone button is the stupidist place.  I'm so mad.  I want to get rid of that keyboard.

Anytime I try to use it,  it clips my screen to something else.  I'm so annoyed! Who's ever bright idea that was,  should be fired!

Agree! It didn't recognize anything anymore. And now they've moved the microphone in the lower left bottom corner!  That's caused me nothing but problems.  I hate their keyboard now

If only I could use my keyboard from my LG Stylo 5! Or, if only it was offered with more on board memory, I would have been happy as it was.

The keyboard it was willing to allow me to use was Swype+Dragon — soooo easy! Unlimited foreign languages by long press on the space bar.

I'm using the Microsoft Swift key most of the time now, although I switch to the Samsung occasionally for Greek, Hebrew and Cyrillic fonts, and for accented letters e.g., coup d’état.

After the recent update things got much worse — now once I switch to the Samsung keyboard, the “keyboard button” disappears and to get it back I have to go to General Management > Keyboard List And Default >  and then select Microsoft. Then the keyboard button will last until the next time I go to Samsung. It's like a jealous wife.

Now I can't find any way to add more keyboards.  I did add the Microsoft — did the "add keyboard" button vanish like the "keyboard button" does?  But I can get that back.  Where do I go to get the "add keyboard" back?

It all depends on personal preference. I am using SwiftKey now and I like it better than Samsung keyboard and gboard
