My gosh, I don't understand why I have been running into issues ever since I got a replacement phone.

No matter what I do, I can NOT get notification Sounds through my earbuds. I have all notifications settings on. I even downloaded Sound Assistant and have all the features on. Have the Talking notifications on Google Assistant on.

What the HECK is going on, please. Can someone help me before I smash this darn phone?
Thanks

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I figured out the stupid problem I was having with the no notification sounds through earbuds. All you have to do is uninstall Sound Assistant and download it again, and it works perfectly fine! Shoutout FEW the cool cats who gave me some ideas, you guys are the best!

Assuming you have Bluetooth earbuds: go to settings on your phone, then connections and then Bluetooth. In the list of Bluetooth devices, tap on gear icon next to your ear bud's name. In there, look for "audio or music" toggle. Turn it on, if that is off. Otherwise remove/delete your Bluetooth earbuds and pair them again using appropriate pairing method for your earbuds.

Everything is on. Darn I'm embarrassed. I thought I knew a fair lot in regards of Droid especially Samsung but oh boy was I mistaken. One little issue has me running in circles and no solution. The 2 LAST things I would really want to avoid are " reset apps preferences" because it will mess a bunch of other app configurations most of which I won't remember which are the ones needing special permissions and of course factory reset. All because of 1 pesky issue. 🤬1705299741463.jpg

Samsung has a phone diagnostic page where you can test each feature of the phone individually, and notification sounds are one of them. From there you can narrow down the start of the problem, whether it's from your phone or attached device. That may help a little. Go to settings and search phone diagnostics and follow the diagnostic icons until you get to he page where you can tap on each circle and test whatever it's labeled. Hope this helps a little to narrow down the problem.

I have no problem with mine, and I have different sounds for different contacts and apps, but I'm thinking maybe you could set a mode or routine? Maybe that would work.
