Hello friends.  I started getting a notification that stops the other apps and says

WARNING
Detected a large amount of useless junk on
your system, click to clean automatically

I ran TotalAV and it didn't even help. Any suggestions?

That looks like malvertising and likely came from a rogue app. A real warning would never use that language. Uninstall the last couple of apps you installed before that started happening.

It's most likely adware or fishing ware. There is probably an app that has the display over other apps fuction turned on. Try putting the phone into safety mode, and see if it still happens.

Everyone here says it's fake, and that is true. It could also be a ransomware.

Ransomware encrypts your data with a key they have, and then they try to get you to pay them for the key.  This is not the case here, at least not yet.

Well, it was my guess, but thanks for telling me about this.

Try restarting your phone in Safe Mode.  If the popup stops in Safe Mode then you may need to remove applications that you are not familiar with.
