Receiving two text messages from one sent. Double text messages sent only once

I send one text message but receive two of the same message. Galaxy s23

Double messaging has been happening to me and everyone in my family as well as my boyfriend and a few friends. But when one of us sends a text the other person gets everything twice. ALL with samsung Galaxy's and all have verizon. Restarting fixes it temporarily. Dunno why it started happening. I assume an update glitch, maybe?

Well good to know not just one person experiencing the issue as rude as it sounds but now we know, I wonder if anyone told Verizon about it if not the company should know so they can fix their systems. And if it's the phones fault, then Samsung should fix it . Hopefully, everyone will have their messages fixed soon.

I'm going to if the next update doesn't fix it. It doesn't happen all the time and I'm lazy so I haven't yet haha
