S23U: Where is the Voice-to-text mic for keyboard?!

I have a galaxy S23 Ultra and updated this morning to 6.1 and now can't use voice to text in my text app.  It installed some AI Advanced Intelligence, which I've disabled and turned off in every area, yet it's still functioning and I cannot use voice to text anywhere.  

Voice input in keyboard is on samsung voice input as I do not choose to allow the permissions required for the gboard (they're riduculous!)

Please advise as to how to get the basic voice to text feature back.  These updates keep screwing up the phones and it's frustrating and annoying to say the least. Just want the old, simple functions please.  Thanks.

Yeah, but there's no icon directly above the keyboard anymore. To allow you to do voice to text . This is **bleep**

The icon was moved to the bottom left corner

I switched to Google's keyboard after the Samsung "upgrade" and so many things on my phone have to be reset. The only advice is "all you have to do is" and it's all different from the last version. I have previously very much enjoyed praising Samsung while condemning Apple, but this upgrade is the first time I've been incredibly annoyed with this system. Even my lock screen clock is different and twelve attempts to adjust it back (Googling advice and such, not to mention common sense or "user-friendly" menus) have failed. Boo so bad at this ridiculous downgrade!

After Galaxy s23 2024 update mic option missing for speech to text...I went to voice input but nothing helped. I had to type this all out.. very annoying

The new location for the microphone is in the bottom left corner if it's not show
open your settings and go to
- General management
- Keyboard list and default
- and toggle on keyboard button on Navigation bar

If it's still not showing
- Open settings
- General management Keyboard list and default
- Select Samsung keyboard
- scroll down and reset it
