Samsung has begun rolling out its September security update to more Galaxy devices. The Galaxy S23 series recently picked up the latest security patch. This rollout will gradually extend to other models globally, including in the US. The company has already updated a handful of those.

Galaxy S23 series blessed with the September security update

Samsung started deploying the September SMR (Security Maintenance Release) to eligible Galaxy devices early this month. The latest release contains 67 vulnerability patches addressing various security issues across Android OS and Samsung’s One UI. At least one of these patches addresses a critical issue, potentially allowing threat actors to access your device remotely.
