Samsung pass does not work on rooted devices

Hello everyone,

 

Please i just got this brand new s23 ultra with one physical sim and one E sim, SM-S918N, my issue is that the Samsung pass and security apps don't work because the phone says that the device has been rooted.. this is a brand new phone i bought and unbox myself. Please can anyone help me out as this is my first time really using Samsung phone and everything seems black and white to me compared to xiaomi devices.

Note: the phone status is showing official and root checker also shows that there is no root access

From a retail store... I've used root checker to confirm the root Access and its showing that device hasn't been rooted

I would suggest returning it since it sounds like a refurbished device that they sold as new

 okay, but please would a refurbished phone still show official as the phone status
