Even with my phone unlocked a few of my Edge Panels are instructing me to unlock the phone if I want to view content. I have to turn off the Edge Panel feature and turn it right back on. Then they show correctly.

Did this start occurring after the recent update? I would recommend trying to wipe your cache partition see if that will help out in this situation. Then make sure you are up to date.

Follow these steps:

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Connect To Computer or plug in USB-C Headphones  , Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key .
  3. When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
  4. An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
  5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
  6. Press Power key to select.
  7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
  8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.

Press the Power key to restart the device

Thank you Leo. I think it started after updating to UI 6 but not absolutely positive about that. Even after the December update I was having the issue. But for the last week or so, things seem to be okay.
I have printed out your instructions so that if it happens again, I will try what you said and follow the instructions you have laid out.
