Swiping down to get to notifications

I upgraded to One UI 6 recently and there are some issues I've been having with it. Before the update I use to be able to swipe down on the home screen to get to the notification bar. Now I have to swipe from the notification panel. Having an ultra I would enjoy to not reach to the top of the screen everytme.

I also have the s23 ultra and able to swipe down from the middle of the screen to get the notification panel. Have u tried checking ur swipe gestures?
