ā€ƒ

ā€ƒExample above

  • I use tap and hold the home button to translate the page. On the page I want to translate, I just press and hold the home button. A translate icon will appear. I tap that button and the entire page is translated. There is no lens or circles being used.

How do I set that up on another phone?  I cannot remember.

That worked. No idea why they named it circle to search when there is no circling being done. Just pressing the home button.

Should be added to the hidden features.

Anyway thank you very much.

Because I don't need to translate a word or a sentence. I need the whole page and much easier to tap the home button.

One plus phones have similar one tap to translate a whole page.

Looks like that might be part of Google Assistant. Holding the home button brings up the assistant.  I think then you can choose settings on what you want it to do when you bring it up.  I don't know for sure, as I don't use Google Assistant, I just know that pressing the home button brings it up.
