Does anyone have this new feature on the s23 where the notification shade is gone?

Just as a follow up, and seemingly for no reason, the shade is back. Very weird. Also I noticed the system defaulted to Samsung Messages from my selected app: Mood. I get the impression there will be weeks of hidden features appearing.
