Is there any products or services that can clean or replace the type C port without voiding the warrenty?
I am having frequent disconnetion for wired android auto, plus the charging keeps stopping on regulat charger...
I checked the official Samsung site, and the only option I can see is replacing the whole motherboard which I feel is overkill if the problem is with just the port.
Wired Android Auto is from an app causing the issue, most likely at least... Does your phone ever have the random disconnects from the charger or any other USB items? I had the same issue but my vehicle and phone didn't recognize that I had plugged in the cable so after digging around on multiple forums it most likely is from the Auto Blocker that was installed/turned on by an update. Try checking within SETTINGS - SECURITY and PRIVACY - scroll down and see if the Auto Blocker is toggled on.. If so, disable it. Hopefully Android Auto and any other issues the USB was giving you will no longer occur. If that doesn't work the next thing I'd try is using a different cable as like everything else they can go bad over time.
