Galaxy S23Have you tried wiping the cache partition? If you did and that did not work, You could add the music widget to the lock screen. You'd access by tapping the clock.
Settings/lock screen and AOD/widgets. Tap that and turn the sliders on for the widgets you would like.

Galaxy S23One other thing, in the settings for Samsung music (I assume you are using Samsung Music), have you made sure the "control music from lock screen" slider did not get turned off in the update? I didn't actually know that was a setting, since I never had Samsung Music player on my phone. I just downloaded it and went through the settings and saw that one. Don't know if it's a new setting that has to be turned on, or it was always there and the update turned it off. It is not on by default. I know Samsung updates have a nasty habit of turning off some settings that have been on.
