Verizon Failed January Update

Trying to update my S23 Ultra with the most recent update but it keeps failing. I have a locked Verizon phone. Everytime I try to update, it's super slow and eventually fails giving my "Error Code: 407". I tried clearing cache, clearing data, restarting my phone, using Smart Switch, switching between wifi and data, switching between different wifi networks. I have enough space on my phone (300gb free). If I knew what the error code meant, I could diagnose further. Google hasn't been helpful. Samsung support hasn't been helpful. They are telling me to manually flash my device but I wanna leave that as a last resort. Any suggestions?

I literally got the s24 ultra yesterday and it won't update...

You’re not the only one having this problem. I got a security update yesterday morning for my Verizon locked S23 Ultra. When I tried to download it, it was painfully slow and ultimately failed and gave me an ‘Error Code: 412’. I’ve tried it several more times with the same result. As best as I can tell, it's an issue with Verizon on some S series phones. Lots of people here on Members are having the same problem. Are you with Verizon, too?

yes I am with verizion, I got aggravated at the update and decided to give it until they fix it

Me too. I’m just gonna try waiting it out for a few days. They undoubtedly know about this, it's probably just a matter of time before they withdraw that update and send us one that's not so buggy. At least, that's what I’m hoping for.

I had the same problem.
I'm with Verizon, S23 Ultra, United States.
I receive the same error 412.

After ten tries last night at 11, it finally downloaded an hour and a half later. The only thing I do i was make more space on my storage and try multiple times. Wifi connection btw.

Now that you’ve successfully installed the update, how is your phone doing. I’m kinda paranoid about doing it now, outta fear of it messing up my phone.

Honestly nothing change, I thought it was the one ui 7 update but is not.
