YouTube notifications still makes sound when placed on silent

I have notifications to be sent silently but it keeps making sounds every time I get a new YouTube notification. I have set it to disable on the YouTube options too ( I've never had to do that before ) just placing the phone YouTube notifications to silent was enough. All this started with the latest android update. Anyone has a clue of what's going on? It's annoying me.

Same problem here, and for certain apps, it wont have the notification sound I set it to, just the default one.

That I have no issues with it's easy to fix, it's this YouTube stuff has no fix that I can find. Support is clueless asking to reset stuff 🤦
