Galaxy S24I purchased a pair of fake AKG usb-c earphones. I didn't know they were fake until I got them. I plugged them into the usb port on my S24 and made a phone call. Afterwards I saw that the earphone_fota Samsung USB-C headset firmware had updated on its on. It didn't ask my permission or anything. Is this normal? With the earphones being fake what's the possibilities of being hacked this way?

Absolutely, it could. Not saying that happened though. You should enable Auto Blocker
