I would just like to be able to get others if I needed/wanted to. I'm afraid they are working on getting rid of them for good if I upgrade to a new phone.

If you upgrade you phone you will still be able to redownload the ones that you have previously downloaded from the store

I just saw this notification in the Galaxy Store:

[Notice] Termination of One UI 7 Edge Panel

Galaxy Store Downloads

We would like to inform you that when you

update to One Ul 7 on your device, you will no

longer be able to download Edge Panels from

Galaxy Store. However, Edge Panels that you

have already downloaded before updating your

device will st ill be available in the "My apps"

section in Galaxy Store.

Is Samsung dead set on removing all of the features that make Galaxy phones unique?

• MST in Samsung Pay
• microSD storage
• Samsung Messages app
• Samsung Mail on current generation of Samsung watches

And now it looks like Edge Panels are on the chopping block. Yet another reason to look beyond the Samsung's Andriod ecosystem for my next upgrade.

You will be able to continue to use the panels you have.  The notice is for being able to download new ones.  So if there are any in the store you are even thinking you may want, you should download them now and decide later whether they are useful to you and you want to keep them. My understanding is if you get a new device, you will be able to transfer them over via smart switch or download the ones you already have under the "my apps" header in the Galaxy store.  New phones will not come with the pre-installed edge panels and you won't be able to download new ones.

Android 15 is gonna destroy what's left of a great thing .first they are gonna make sideloading much harder and now I find this out . Why even upgrade to 15 .I'm sure he'll gonna try and stay on 14

You can't download any new Panels from the Galaxy store. But you will still be able to use the existing downloaded panels even after One UI 7 unless you uninstall them.

That's some **bleep**.**bleep** are they thinking ! This is getting to the point why even stay with Samsung.every updates removes features . Ridiculous.
