Focus problem in S24Ultra

In many occasions I noticed the focus of 5x, 10x, 30x are messed up in S24Ultra. It'll show green box as if focus acquired but the resulting image is often back focused or out of focus

Which Pic are you referring to? It focused the tree instead of bird.

happens with s24 plus too! The camera on the s24+ is WORSE than the s22+! How did the camera get worse? The specs might be better, but the camera software processing is horribly flawed. It processes worse than an s8!!!!

Yea, I guess they shouldn't have removed the physical lens. Image quality of S22 ultra was much better.
Samsung always teases Apple but finally follows Apple way.

The AF system is so year 2010:

• you only have object tracking, if your animal is not registered as object you can only manual tap to focus, even if it is tracked as an object you will rarely track the face
• if you want to use higher resolutions that 12MP you loose object tracking, als is left is human face detect and tap to focus
• face detect is outdated (because it mostly focuses on the nose tip), todays standard is eye detect for human and animals
