Galaxy S24 Ultra: Charging Issues & Bluetooth Audio Limited to Calls Only

Hello Everyone,

I’m experiencing some unusual issues with my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 5G and was hoping someone here could help me diagnose the problems:

1. Super Fast Charging Issue

When I connect my phone to a compatible charger, the Super Fast Charging feature keeps turning on and off repeatedly.

I’ve tried using different cables, power bricks, and outlets, but the issue persists no matter what I use.

2. Fast Charging Issue

The Fast Charging feature also has a similar problem—it intermittently turns on and off during charging. However, unlike Super Fast Charging, it eventually charges the phone.

3. Bluetooth Audio Playback Issue

This started after I connected my phone to a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE using Android Auto in a company car.

Now, when I connect my phone to the stock radio in my 2011 Ford Fusion SEL, only phone call audio works over Bluetooth.

Other audio sources, like music, videos, and app notifications, no longer play through Bluetooth—they default to the phone’s internal speakers instead.

I’ve already tried some basic troubleshooting steps (e.g., changing chargers, cables, and testing other outlets for the charging issue), but I haven’t had any success. If anyone has experienced something similar or knows what might be causing these issues, I’d greatly appreciate your input!

I would suggest that you run the diagnostics, found in this app under 'Support', and see if it detects an error with your device.

I’ve already done that. I’ve also performed a master reset on my stereo, reset the Bluetooth settings on my phone, and even did a network reset. I’m still unsure what’s causing the issue.

Yes, weirdly enough.

I tried everything I could to fix the Bluetooth issue, even going as far as doing a factory reset on my phone. I also reset my car's stereo, but that didn’t solve the problem either. Afterward, I decided to troubleshoot the car’s audio system and discovered that it needed to be completely disconnected and reconnected. Surprisingly, after removing and reinstalling the number 14 mini fuse, the system started working again—almost like a hard reset. I could’ve achieved the same result by disconnecting and reconnecting the car’s battery. I still have no idea why this worked when the phone troubleshooting didn’t. However, I’m still stuck on the charging issue.

Having issue where super fast charging will turn off not long after I connect to charger. Restarting my phone seemed to have fixed the issue for now but this is the second time its happened. Not sure if your issue is the same but let me know if you find a fix.

I suspect my phone is having trouble with super fast charging because it may have gotten wet while I was showering. I often use my phone to play music during that time.
