I have old contacts that I have already deleted from my phone showing up. I've gone thru Gmail,back ups and current contacts all show them as deleted,but yet they show up in Google messages

I use Google messages. I like it. It'd better then the default messaging app it gives you.

The default messaging app on the S24 phones is Google Messenger.

I use Google Message & I really liked it. Had to get a new SIM card & now Messages tells me my device won't work for RCS messaging or its verifying my phone number for days. Google is no help with the matter either.

Yes. StraightTalk wasn't any help either.
