How to temporaily remove YouTube Floating player

I love the YouTube Floating player for multitasking. But once in a while I want to just listen to YouTube without seeing the floating player. When I press the X or drag it down to "Remove" it stop the player... I want it to keep playing. 

How?

Turning picture-in-picture OFF

Go to your YouTube app settings. General.To turn off, toggle Picture-in-Picture to off.

Or you are using swipe controls, just open you tube and swipe to another app.
