Is the base model S24 still worth it now?

I'm looking to buy an S24 just after christmas in January. After some research it says the S25 will approximately be out by the end of January.

Is the S24 still worth it or would you hold out?

Also, the main reason why I'm debating this is in the UK, we get the exynos 2400 chip for the base S24 but I'd much rather prefer the snapdragon which is the only thing throwing me off from the S24. I have heard the exynos 2400 chip is terrible in terms of battery life and performance.

Might as well hold out since the announcement usually is around late January/early February.
