Lost lasso feature on S24 Ultra

Does anyone know how to enable/fix the lasso feature? I used to be able to free hand select portions of the photo but now when I try it turns what I selected into a square . This would be fine but it doesn't delete the portions I didn't select. Specifically I want to get rid of a portion of a drawing that was stained. Thanks for any input!

When you have your photo in the editor, tap the 4-bubble icon on bottom right . That will bring up the lasso
