My Oleophobic coating has completely worn off, my S24U. The screen now not only has a fingerprint problems, it now gets the oilslick rainbow effect from natural skin oils.

I am not really a screen protector type of person, I had to put one on to counter the problems with my screen. I will not use a film screen protector like the matt protector made by Samsung. Now I lose the best thing about the screen on my device, the Gorilla Armor glass matt effect.

Does Samsung Care+ cover reapplying a Oleophobic coating on my device?

Has anyone ever have this done by Samsung?

Is Oleophobic coating considered a screen repair?

I'm not sure, but if your screen is damaged with scratches, then you can just get the whole screen replaced. That way, you get a brand new screen with the oleophobic coating.

Same thing happened after a recent update. You just have to go unto your settings and keyboard and turn it back on

I'm sorry to hear that about your coating. I hope you can get it fixed. That would drive me crazy.

@Robin621k Are you cleaning your screen with some caustic substance? I've never had this happen to any phone that I've owned.
