I was running maps and spotify iin split screen when it happened.

Spotify can consume a lot of data, that's probably it. Or maybe you needed an auto restart, is that setting on?

Not on auto, you're probably right about spotify though

I've had issues with having 3 background programs running,(Spotify, run tracker, maps) but it only closes them, no restarts.

@Tlloyd121 I've used Google Maps and Amazon music or Sirius XM in split screen on my Fold 5 with no problem. Did your phone overheat by any chance? I try to select car mounts which don't put my phone in the direct sun. 

If it repeats, once it reboots use the Samsung Member app -> support to report it.

It's an issue with Google Maps. Seems like everyone has been having the same issue the past 2 days. I saw an update in the play store so I'm hoping they fixed it.
