Photo Categories Missing after Smartswitch

All the pics are not in one giant cluster.

I had reddit images, downloads, gifs and many more categories. 

Why didn't these transfer.

Also, had to turn in my original phone, so no way to re-run the transfer.

Have you tried to tap on the view all tab? All of the albums should be there.

You can also check your file folders for the backed up albums (categories) on your new device in Samsung Files, One drive, and/or Google photos. One drive and Google only back up device folders that are toggled on.
