RCS turned off

I been using Google msgs for a while and RCS was working fine , for some reason it is off now 

Do you have any ideas why ?

Same here on my A15 5G (Verizon). RCS chat just stopped working in Google Messages last evening. Going into Messages settings, RCS chats. "RCS chats aren't available for this device."
What happened?
Phone & app have all current updates.

Okay I'll be patient. Maybe some disruptions to Verizon's Network due to the hurricane. Lots of power outages may have affected equipment?

That could be a cause depending on how things go with any tower issues it should improve I think

The Google Messages app may have had an update (probably security) and your options may have reset.
