S24 Ultra Camera Quality Feedback

As many of us are experiencing these camera issues where the post processing ruins images taken by making them grainy or too saturated. I found temporarily that using the camera in safe mode and airplane mode gave me way better results when using the camera . Hopefully they fix this soon

UPDATE

Turns out my camera issue is a hardware issue. I spoke to representative and there are no updates coming for the camera, only for the screen issues. I will return mine an get a new device. Seems I got a early model that was part of a bad batch. 

Update: got my replacement device today NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE. now this is what the s24 ultra is supposed to be. WOW I can't believe the difference. The screen for sure is way brighter and more colorful and the camera is amazing and no issues with post processing ruining images. If anything it just makes them way better. I can't believe what a difference there is between the devices

Hey, same issue as you and it is related to this lossless raw setting that appeared. When checked, my pics all look like this.

The fix for now is to accept lossy raw... S23U here.

I haven't heard anything from ssung about the issue. They are due to release an update for the s24 series this month. Hopefully it fixes this issue as well

Samsung does not care about RAW users, they fail to respond to the issue of broken RAW in ProMode since more than a year. Only smart move is to move on to  a company that understands and cares how photography works.

Does anybody know how to fix dng photo like this? I take a lot of this error dng RAW photo during my trip.Photoshop,Lightroom,Snapseed,all fail to open dng file like normal.

Please report back if you find a solution. I also have some I would like to recover. Sure re-installing the app makes it work for new photos, but that does not help us will ones previously taken.

I reinstalled Expert Raw and now everything is OK..

I had this exact problem. I had to open the galaxy store, uninstall expert raw, then re-install. Works now.

Well, color me surprised. Reinstalling expert raw fixed the issue🤷

Same here, fixed it by re-installing. To bad I can't seem to recover all the previous RAW ones I took.
