Front facing camera freezes when using it. Only shows a still image and updates every few seconds to a new image. It either freezes completely and crashes or continues with the lag. Unable to look through front facing camera at all because it freezes on what it's looking at for 10 seconds at a time. A factory reset fixes it but once there's an update it breaks again. It's frustrating considering how much the phone costs. I'd love to show it off and promote the phone to friends and family but I feel as if I'm showing people a broken product. It's an awful feeling having something brand new that feels like you bought it used because something isn't working on it.
I've seen several posts on here regarding this issue with no update.
Samsung, please don't let this continue and give some sort of acknowledgement.
Same problem for me. Remote engineer came out, ran diagnostics on the phone and factory reset it. The problem was back within 4 days. Amazon expect me to send the phone in for repair and be without a phone in the interim. All their repair will do is what's already been done and within days the issue will be back again. They refuse to exchange it because it's now selling for £300 than I paid less than 2 months ago. It's disgusting to buy a too of the range phone and have these issues. Samsung need to pull their heads out of their ar#ses and provide a solution for this.
Weird update. If I use the selfie camera in low light where it has to use night mode, no issues whatsoever. But as soon as the camera sees light it freezes.
