Hi! I hope you can assist me. Iā€™m looking for the best way to safely store passwords and manage autofill on the S24 Ultra. Are Google Pass and Samsung Pass secure options? Iā€™d love to hear your recommendations!

I wouldn't use Samsung Pass as it is only compatible with Samsung devices and the data is not exportable to other apps. I have always felt Google to be secure (as I've never had the data compromised), other people seem to have a deep distrust of Google-for no discernable reason other than it's Google. Google password data is exportable to a .csv file for use in other apps or readable with a text editor. Personally, I tend to mostly use Roboform, but sometimes utilize Google/chrome password manager, mostly because my use of it predated my use of Roboform. My recommendation would be for you to use Google. Of course, your data is only as secure as your account is.

Thanks. So, Google isn't secure? Is it vulnerable? Is Roboform free?

Google is secure. It is not vulnerable unless you have a habit of sharing your account password. Roboform has a free version, but I don't know how limited the free version is these days I think it only covers an individual device with no cloud storage and no syncing. It's something like $20 a year sunbscription (i forget the exact price because I usually buy multi year when they have a deal. You can use it on unlimited devices as the info is stored both locally and in their cloud and auto syncs. You can access your logins even if you are not on your own device. You can find out more at roboform.com

I don't share my passwords. I just wonder if Google will do the job regarding safety.

My experience has been that it will be secure. What I meant by the data only being as secure as your account, is because you wouldn't believe how many people share their accounts and/or passwords with their current significant others. One couple on here share a Google account so they can keep tabs on each other, which will turn to stalking if they break up.

Samsung pass is proprietary to only Samsung devices, so if you leave the Samsung ecosphere, your pass data is not transferable and you will have to recreate all your passwords from scratch. I have been using Google for at least 20 years and have never found my data to be compromised. Roboform works on Mac as well.
