I have an s24 ultra and the screen will die after just a few seconds and go back to where it should be if I touch the screen.

I have screen timeout at 30s (but happens at longer times, always dims in about 5s, off at timer) and set to keep on when looking, in fact I turned it on hoping to solve this issue but it didn't. Adaptive brightness is currently enabled but the brightness isn't being adjusted in that way, plus I've had the issue with adaptive off anyways.

I don't have any power saving enabled either so stumped. I've been using Android devices since the HTC G1 & if memory serves this is the first device that I've had this issue with.

Diagnostics show all good too so any suggestions would be very much appreciated because it makes reading obnoxious, especially when there is a decent amount of light.

Thanks

Haha, I have changed it to other values. That's just what it's at right now. It dims in about 5 seconds regardless which doesn't seem right even at 30s timeout. It shouldn't dim at all during that time as far as I'm concerned

I would but I go between different lighting conditions enough that it's obnoxious. That said it happens even when it's off. It's not an adjustment from the sensor it's more like a timer based dim, it happens every time I stop touching the screen for 5 seconds. I'm at a loss because I've tried all the settings one normally thinks to try... It's got me stumped & has for months so I figured I might as well ask and hope for the best

Not sure why that is happening I have not experienced it myself only thing I can think is the sensitivity setting for display if I have the term or name right
