Is there a way to turn off notifications for Samsung Calendar?

Is there a way to turn off notifications for Samsung Calendar? Mine is faded out so I can't turn it off. I use Google Calendar and only need one Calendar notification.

 Did you try turning the Samsung Calendar off?

⁃   Open Samsung Calendar   ≻
⁃   Click on the 3 lines   ☰   ≻
      ( top left )
⁃   Click Manage Calendars   ≻
      (option all the way down)
⁃   Turn Off Samsung Account
      ( Samsung  Calendar )

Disable Notifications this way:

     Turn This On First:
⁃   Settings  ≻
⁃   Notifications  ≻
⁃   Advanced Settings  ≻
⁃   Turn "Manage Notification
     Categories for Each App" On .

     Then:

⁃   Settings  ≻
⁃   Apps  ≻
⁃   Samsung Calendar  ≻
⁃   Notifications  ≻
⁃   Notification  Categories  ≻
⁃   Turn Off:
      General Notifications
      and / or
      Other Notifications
