Hey all. So I have an s24+ and use Google Messages as my default messaging app and my friend has a Z Flip 5G and uses the Samsung Messages app as their default messaging app.
We both use RCS chats, however, chats will switch to sms/mms because it shows "they're offline" but once they respond, it will switch back to RCS messaging. I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same issue?
@92redbird When I used Samsung Messages I often found the RCS intermittent. Your friend should switch to Google Messages if they want much more reliable RCS.
Had this issue and almost same replys from some 2300 number I couldn't send mms ang sometimes reg text had not connected to service replys. Anyway after a week I tried something that Google said I had to do and it was dnload googs contact list app in the Play store. Don't ask me how or why my I could text and send pics again, after. Week of not being able to. Try it who knows. Goodluck!
